My work is grounded in The Sustainable Multilingual™ Framework – an integrated model for understanding multilingual and intercultural development across life phases.
It combines conceptual tools, analytical dimensions and a practical method to support sustainable decision-making.

1) Conceptual Tools
The framework integrates several perspectives that help interpret multilingual constellations:
The Dominant Language Constellation
Culture Through DIfferent Lenses
Together, these perspectives help make complex multilingual and intercultural situations interpretable and discussable.
2) Analytical Dimensions
The framework analyses multilingual situations through five interrelated dimensions: Structural, Emotional, Identity, Developmental, and Relational.
Together they allow the systematic interpretation of multilingual communication in families, educational contexts, and international professional environments.
They provide a structured way to interpret real-life situations:
Structural – sustainability of language practices and communication patterns within a system over time
Emotional – emotional dynamics influencing language use and communication
Identity – belonging, cultural alignment and self-concept in multilingual environments
Developmental – development of communicative and linguistic competencies within a given environment
Relational – effects on multilingualism on interaction patterns and relationships
Together, these dimensions provide a structured map for interpreting real-life multilingual and intercultural situations.
3) Practical Method
Insights are translated into action through my ENJOY approach:
Enter Well – understanding the constellation and starting conditions
Navigate – recognising patterns and dynamics
Join – alligning family members, educators or teams
Organise – developing sustainable structures and strategies
Yield Success – supporting long-term development and confident decision-making
This process is applied in work with families, institutions and organisations who aim to develop sustainable strategies and confident long-term decisions.
4) Application & Access
The Sustainable Multilingual™ Framework is applied through advisory work, professional development, and selected family consultancy.
Rather than a fixed, standardized program, the framework is used as a flexible, research-based system that can be adapted to different contexts and levels of complexity.
It is currently applied in:
Advisory and professional development for institutions and organizations
Supporting schools, educational institutions, and international teams in interpreting multilingual and intercultural dynamics, and developing sustainable, context-sensitive approaches.
Work with multilingual families
Guiding families in understanding their unique language constellations and making informed, long-term decisions.
Workshops and structured learning formats
Introducing the framework’s key concepts, analytical dimensions, and reflective tools in an accessible and applicable way.
Access to the framework takes place through collaboration, guided reflection, and applied use rather than through standardized certification pathways.
